How To Join

If you'd like to join Bright Trading, LLC as a member trader, follow these steps:

You can e-mail us at: remote @ brighttrading.com.
You can call us at 877-211-0545 and discuss remote trading at Bright Trading. We can answer your questions and help you to determine if Bright is right for you.

If you decide you'd like to join, we will send you a packet of forms to complete so you can become a member of the LLC. You will complete these and mail them back to us along with a check for $250 (made out to NASD) if you need to take the Series 7 and a check for $500 (made out to the Chicago Stock Exchange) for the trader registration fee, and a $100 application fee. (certain state registration fees may also apply, check your packet)

If you have never taken the Series 7 or not been registered with a Broker-Dealer in the past 2 years, you must take and pass the NASD Series 7 test. Once you complete and return your forms, Bright will sponsor you for the Series 7 and a 120 day window will be opened for you to take the Series 7. We recommend the Securities Training Corporation classes or material. Stcusa.com study guides to help you pass the test (you can get these from Bright at a discount to the retail price).

Remote Traders who are new to Bright take the Trader Orientation in Las Vegas before they can start trading with Bright. (for proven traders, this requirement may be waived at management's discretion, but prior trading records are required)

Make sure you have an adequate computer system for remote trading including hardware and software that meets minimum specifications, and a good ISP.

Once we receive your funds, we will provide you with a login and a trading account so you can set up your software. At this point, you would submit the online trader info form.
