How to Get SAS Stock

What is SAS?

SAS is Bright's Stock Allocation System. It allows you to have "in-house" stock allocated to your account so you become net long that stock for a day. At the end of the day, the SAS is returned to the corporate account.  If the value of the SAS stock goes down during the day, you take no loss, Bright Trading bears the loss. SAS is very similar to a conversion, but lasts only for the day.  Once you have the SAS stock, you are long the stock, so you can sell it long.  At Bright, we primarily use SAS stock due to it's easy accessibility.
